In 2005 I played in The Jamega International Pro am which took place in
the Eastern Algarve. Over the years I have played in many beautiful areas
but nowhere have I enjoyed more than the area they call the Costa De La Luz.
Great courses such as
Quinta De Cima,
Quinta Da Ria,
Monte Rei and
Esuri
offer marvellous golfing opportunities. Coastal towns like
Tavira and
Ayamonte,
just over the border in Spain, are a delight to behold.
Hotels like the Riu Atlantico, Villa Galle and the Vincci Hotel at
Isla Canela
offer all the amenities you could possibly wish for. It really is a
great place to have a golfing vacation.
The last two winters I have built up many connections in the area and no
matter what your requirements, they can be met.
